The group of Optoelectronic Devices and Integration (OEDI) is one of the five key divisions of the Wuhan National Laboratory for Optoelectronics (WNLO), China. The group was established in 2003 and merged groups from photonics, physics and telecommunication at Huazhong University of Science & Technology. The group focuses on these research directions: 1) Key optoelectronic devices and integration of high speed coherent Optical Communicationsnetworks at Tb/s; 2)High-performance computing oriented optical interconnects and integrated chips for information processing with photonics; 3) Integrated optoelectronic devices used for microwave and THz photonics; 4)New phenomena and mechanisms of nanophotonics devices; 5)Advanced fiber based devices and integration.

As per COFUND guidelines, fellowship programmes will be based on individual-driven mobility, i.e., researchers will be able to freely choose a research topic fitting their individual needs.
The subject of the research project is expected to contribute to European competitiveness and to be in the general field of Photonics and/or its applications. Within these limitations, applicants can freely choose both their research topic and their host organisation, in the spirit of the ‘European Charter for Researchers’.
