In celebration of the International Day of Light Aston Institute of Photonic Technologies at Aston University, OSA/SPIE Aston University Student Chapter, MSCA Projects MULTIPLY, REAL-NET, MOCCA, MEFISTA, POST-DIGITAL, WON, FONTE, MENTOR, MONPLAS, and projects SMARTNET, PIXNET have organised a one-day summit on 21st of May 2021. This was an academic and social event, aiming to insight our collaboration, academic creativity, and motivation.
Two MULTIPLY Fellows presented their talks on this summit: Dr. Yiming Li told to listeners about his recent research in “Mode division multiplexing: A ultra-fast data transmission scheme in free space optical communication systems” and Dr. Lucas Souza gave a talk on “Multi-functional photo-thermal biomaterials for bone cancer therapy”.
